The Journey of Faith

Faith is a whisper in the storm,A flickering light when the night is long.It stands where reason crumbles low,A seed in drought, yet still it grows.

Tested in the valley deep,Where prayers are echoes lost in sleep.Where silence weighs upon the chest,And hope is tried by trial’s test.

The wind may howl, the earth may quake,The heavens silent, the soul may break.Yet faith endures, though torn apart,It clings to promise, not the dark.

For faith is not in things once seen,Not in wealth or pastures green. It’s found in words that never fade,In truth eternal, light engraved.

For man shall fall, and strength may fail,But faith stands firm beyond the veil. Not built on sand that shifts and sways,But on the Rock, the Ancient Way.

His Word, a fire within the soul,Refines the heart, makes broken whole. It speaks when fear would bid retreat,It lifts the weary to their feet.

So when the journey stretches long,And faith seems weak, the fight too strong,Hold to His Word, let courage rise,For faith prevails where doubting dies.

And in the end, though storms have passed,Though trials burned, though shadows cast,The faith that stood, though torn and tried,Will shine as gold, refined, alive.
